Black Rifle Action Shooting Society

From time to time, certain people cross our path in life. Below are a few that have crossed the sands at The Tuscola County Conservation Club, and made their way onward to that gun range in the sky. These tributes are way over due.

                     Russ Glasgow

In the early days of B.R.A.S.S. and I mean early. Russ would help with set-up, serve as a range officer, and official score keeper for the Top B.R.A.S.S. series.

                 Brenda Wrightman

Again going back to the early day of B.R.A.S.S. Brenda helped out with the Top B.R.A.S.S. series selling tickets, and helping run the matches. She was a great asset to the club.

Bob Barnes                                  The one thing I'll never forget about Bob was his laugh. Bob was the father of one of are range officers "Robert" . I worked with Bob for eight years, he was a jack of all trades, he could do anything in the shop.

                       Mike Henry

This one really hit us hard. Mike was one of the B.R.A.S.S. founders. He worked as a range officer until his hands hurt so hard he couldn't hold a gun anymore. A guy with a huge heart. Greatly missed....

Chef Ed                               This one really hurts hard, we lost our beloved "Chef Ed" Jan.19 2023. Ed was a shooter in the early days. Some health conditions prevented his walking abilities. He still wanted to help with the matches, so we bestow him the honor of Camp Chef. If you shot out here with us you smelled his grill, or had one of his "BIG ASS HOT DOGS". He blessed us with his presents last year at the Mitten State Mayhem Match 2022. Cook on, Chef Ed, cook on.  It will never be the same with out him...
